Vic's Design prides itself in making your experience with us affordable, easy and enjoyable.
At Vic's Design, we use Digital Canals solidbuilder 3-D program which enables us to digitally walk through your home, allowing for design issues to be addressed and corrected before building. For example making sure there is headroom with stairs and other areas of concern.
Also, we can walk you (our client) through your house, giving you a 3-D view of each room.
We can do cutting lists for all dimension lumber showing exact lengths and angles to cut as well as all material
costs to complete your project. Whether it's your dream cabin by the lake or a 20,000 Sq. ft. dream home we can start you on your way.
To start the process you can mail, email, fax or hand deliver your sketch to us. It doesn't have to be detailed just outside dimensions with the room sketched in. If you are having trouble figuring room sizes a good idea is to cut paper cutouts to scale of your furniture and lay them out as a guide.
We can email the drawings to you in a PDF format for you to burn onto a disc and take to a local printer or they can be sent by courier. Once we have a prelim we can get a log package quote for you if you like. This gives you an idea as to what it will cost for your package. We receive no commission so a fee of $40.00 per quote would apply to cover printing and travel cost.
Preliminary drawings contain:-2 sets of all floor plans (2) 3-D elevations
Final
prints contain:-5 sets of All floor plans Cross sec.'s as required all 4 elevations basic electrical on all floors Floor framing roof framing 3-D log only elevation detail sht
Price includes courier cost for 1 set of prelims and 1 set of finals. You are charged for main floor Sq. Ftg. only. example 1500 sq. ft basement,
1500 sq. ft main 800 sq. ft loft total 3800 sq. ft. you only pay for the 1500 sq. ft. main floor. All other floor plans are included.

covered porches:- $.35 per sq. ft.
carports $.35 per sq. ft.
garages:- $.55 per sq. ft.
Garages with a second floor $.75 per sq. ft.
House $.75 per sq. ft. main floor sq. ftg. only
or if you do not want the electrical. Log 3-D elevation and roof framing $.65 per sq. ft. main floor sq. ftg. only
